Verification helps users identify businesses that have:
- Claimed their listing; and
- Completed SMEhub.world’s verification requirements.
Verification is intended as a trust signal only and does not constitute endorsement, recommendation or approval of any business, product or service.
2. What “Verified” Means
A Verified listing indicates that the business has:
- Claimed its listing on SMEhub.world;
- Confirmed key business details; and
- Successfully completed SMEhub.world’s verification process.
Verification confirms identity and association, not performance or quality.
3. What Verification Does Not Mean
Verification does not:
- Endorse or recommend a business;
- Guarantee the quality, safety or legality of products or services;
- Confirm licensing, insurance or regulatory compliance;
- Verify qualifications, certifications or experience;
- Guarantee customer satisfaction or outcomes.
Users should always conduct their own due diligence before engaging a business.
4. Verification Requirements
Verification is not automatic and is subject to approval by SMEhub.world.
To be considered for verification, a business must:
- Have an active listing on SMEhub.world;
- Be authorised to represent the business;
- Provide accurate, current and non-misleading information; and
- Comply with SMEhub.world’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
SMEhub.world may request additional information to confirm identity or association.
5. Verification Badge
Verified businesses may be permitted to display an SMEhub.world Verification Badge on their own website.
Badge conditions:
- The badge must not be altered or misrepresented;
- The badge must link to the business’s verification page on SMEhub.world;
- The badge must not imply endorsement, certification or approval;
- The badge must not be used in a misleading or deceptive manner.
SMEhub.world reserves the right to withdraw badge usage at any time.
6. Duration and Ongoing Accuracy
Verification is based on information available at the time of approval.
Businesses are responsible for ensuring that:
- Listing information remains accurate and up to date; and
- Verification requirements continue to be met.
Verification may be reviewed periodically or if concerns are raised.
7. Revocation or Suspension of Verification
SMEhub.world may suspend or revoke verification if:
- Information provided is false, misleading or outdated;
- The business breaches SMEhub.world policies or Terms;
- The verification badge is misused;
- Complaints or concerns raise trust or integrity issues; or
- Verification requirements are no longer met.
Verification may be revoked without notice where necessary to protect users or the integrity of the platform.
8. Relationship to Listing Tiers
Verification may be offered as a distinct feature separate from free or paid listing tiers.
Verification status:
- Does not guarantee ranking, visibility or placement;
- Does not guarantee SEO outcomes;
- May be combined with other listing features subject to applicable terms.
9. Limitation of Responsibility
SMEhub.world does not independently verify:
- Business performance;
- Service quality;
- Regulatory compliance; or
- Customer satisfaction.
SME Hub International is not responsible for losses, disputes or outcomes arising from reliance on verification status.
10. Changes to This Policy
SMEhub.world may update this Verification Policy from time to time. Updates will be published on the Website and take effect from the date of publication.
